Newbury Golf Center has installed Toptracer on every bay. We are the only driving range on the North Shore of Boston to have this Range Technology. Having covered and heated bays this technology is available all year long.

What is TOPTRACER?

Toptracer Range, the ball-tracing technology used on televised PGA tournaments to track the shots of the game’s best players, it is transforming the driving range experience. Guests of all ages and ability levels can play a variety of fun and skill-based games, compete against friends, see their shot trace, and receive instant data on interactive game screens behind each mat.

2025-2026 Toptracer Winter Leagues

With well over 100 players joining our inaugural Toptracer league last winter, we realized people want to see ball flight all Winter in New England and not be trapped indoors hitting into screens. We have now partnered with the #1 Golf Software company, Golf Genius to offer live update scoring and live leaderboards all winter. Our league is open to all levels of players and has a division for everyone.  If you are a beginner and looking to partner with a friend or a serious player with a handicap, this 12-week league is for you starting December 1st.

With 20 covered and heated bays, we are the largest covered and heated driving range offering Toptracer leagues in New England. Our leagues will start the first week of December and run for 12 weeks. We offer both a handicap division and non-handicap division for the casual golfer looking to get more comfortable on the golf course. Our non-handicap division will be two-person teams. All our leagues are “floating leagues” this means you will have a seven-day window to play your round for the week. Even If you miss a week, you are able to make it up.

How to Play? Toptracer, the leader in range technology, offers over 25 different golf courses to play, we will have a different course to play each week. While you are hitting balls into the range Toptracer technology will be tracking your ball. This will enable you to simulate a real course and see “BALL FLIGHT” something indoor simulator facilities cannot offer you.

How Long to Play Round? 18 holes will normally take an hour to play

When Can I Play? A floating league gives you the flexibility to play your round at your convenience in a seven-day window. Schedule is below.

Who Can Play? All levels of players, our beginner/intermediate leagues are designed for someone with no handicap or a handicap higher than 30. Our handicap leagues are designed for someone with a USGA handicap under 36.

Cost of the league? The season will cost $100 per person, you are responsible for purchasing your own range balls each week. We will be rewarding multiple prizes for each league along with some mixed in contests throughout the league. Including prizes for pre-season, season long division and playoffs.

How do I learn to use Toptracer? We will have a staff member available to help you navigate your way through the technology, especially the first few weeks of the leagues. The technology is very user friendly and after only a few minutes you will be comfortable with it.

What if I am away for a week? We will offer a make-up week, this will allow you to still compete in the season long standings.
